Before or at the same time legal advice is sought, assistance may be provided from organisations such as, the Police, Social Services etc. Shelter has a page on obtaining further assistance and support. The police may be able to assist in obtaining an injunction, providing warnings, cautions and prosecuting any offences.

A warning letter | letter before action, is normally the first step. It often has the desired effect, does so without escalating matters and is cost effective. If this isn't effective or matters warrant more serious action then court proceedings can be taken to obtain an injunction. See costs page for our fees.
